Maria Quiles is a vocalist, guitarist, and teaching artist originally from the Bay Area, California. She specializes in helping students of all ages develop healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, and expressive freedom. With a warm, student-centered approach, Maria teaches voice and guitar through a blend of musicianship, creativity, and practical skill-building.

As a performer, Maria spent years touring nationally with the folk-Americana trio Quiles & Cloud, earning recognition for their harmonies, songwriting, and dynamic live shows. The group won Best Duo at FreshGrass 2014 and later signed with Compass Records in Nashville, sharing stages with artists such as Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan, Aoife O’Donovan, and The Wood Brothers.

In addition to traditional voice and guitar instruction, Maria also offers BODYSONG, her unique approach to vocal expression that integrates breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness to support authentic, embodied singing.

She is passionate about helping students discover their voices, whether they are beginners, developing musicians, or aspiring performers.
